C.C.Baxter (Jack Lemmon) ist einer von vielen Angestellten einer Versicherung.
Um die Leiter heraufzufallen, hat er sein Apartment einmal seinem Vorgesetzten für ein Schäferstündchen zur Verfügung gestellt.
