Users gain virtually instant access to search results via a common interface, then can take action immediately on those results. From the end user's perspective, X1 automatically and transparently indexes the content housed in multiple information repositories, federates search results, and delivers those results as the end user types characters. Actionable Search Results As fast as the user types, search results are displayed-each result shown in its original format, with search terms highlighted. The instant display of highlighted search results-instead of just a list of links or file names-lets users decide right away which result contains the information they need.
